Mrs. Aimee Kirkland
Instructor: Aimee Kirkland
Welcome to First Grade at Batesburg-Leesville Primary School!  I am very excited about this school year.  First grade is filled with exciting times in a child's learning experiences.  Our days and weeks will be filled with many wonderful opportunities for learning and growing.

My name is Aimee Kirkland.  I graduated from USC-Aiken in May of 2000.  After graduating, I taught a first grade summer school class in Lexington One.   In August of 2001, I  began teaching kindergarten at Saluda Primary School.  I taught there for five years.  While I was there, I decided to go back to school and get my Master's degree.  I have a Master's in Divergent Learning.  I received this degree from Columbia College.  This is my sixth year teaching at BLPS.

I am married to Paige Kirkland.  We have two children.  Hunter is six years old.  She attends Batesburg-Leesville Primary School.  Kamrin is two years old.

Box Tops for Education
Please start saving box tops and turn them in.  Our school receives money for these box tops.  When turning them in, please write your child's first and last name on the back so that they can be entered into a school drawing.  Be sure to check out the box tops website at www.boxtops4education.com.  The school receives points for each person that registers.  Thank you for your support!
